We're happy to invite you to our new live broadcast where we continue speaking about childlessness.

This Friday, September 17, at 5 pm CEST, we'll be discussing the attitudes to childlessness in different cultures.

The guests will speak on four general topics:

1. Parents and non-parents: mutual assumptions, their roots, and a path towards each other.
2. “Motherhood at all costs”. How does it feel to be childless as an Indian woman in UK?
3. Childlessness in Europe: Italy, Norway, Sweden, UK, Spain.
4. Being a childless expat: cultural stigma and struggles of living in a foreign culture as a childless woman.

D iversity appreciation, engagement and inclusion, as well as granting equal employment opportunities   that almost all companies claim to promote  nowadays  are not only about accepting  everybody’s  right to their religious beliefs, political views, cultural traditions and sexual preferences, but it’s also about respecting one’s personal life choices and circumstances, including those related to procreating, and consequently – one’s social status as a parent or a non-parent.  A non-parent of both categories: no kids by choice (“childfree”) and no kinds not by choice but by circumstance (“childless”).   We often speak about maternity in the workplace and the discriminational attitude (so called “motherhood penalty”) that pregnant women and mothers can experience at work. Hi and Welcome

It's been a long way to get here. I started this consultancy project, backed by a personal story and driven by a desire to help childless people feel accepted and appreciated, among their family and friends, their colleagues, managers, and in the society as a whole. Also, I want to help you, parents, sitting on the opposite side of the table, whatever role you have in our life, hear us and learn to be more sensitive and less judging. I called this project "Human Rocks", in short, HR. It deals with Human Resources issues in the workplace. It addresses the challenges that childless employees face at work, being so vulnerable and sometimes misunderstood, often underestimated, definitely unprotected and unrepresented in the community. We have no voice, no value, and no real identity even. Usually companies, as well as a broader society, either ignore our needs and struggles, or treat them superficially, having no idea about our grief or preferring not to notice it. You bet! W
